REMEMBER OUR HISTORY

48 Views          11/12/07
Whether you understand what is happening in the middle east or not. You need to understand "The Struggle" of (M.....) Radicals. For "The Struggle" they talk about is not about the internal fight; but rather, the anger and hatred they have been condition to know and believe about America and Israel. Much like the Nazi Storm Troopers, the Al Queda hates America and Israel with the same vengeance and we must learn from what happened both in Germany and in the U.S and be watchful of the Radicals of our Society. Distraction is what the enemy prays upon and watches for. Much like Christianity believes that the "Devil" has a form, so does "HATE". These Radicals come in all cultures and because the United States protects an Individuals freedom, the "Radical" M..... are free to grow and move and plan and plot for other attacks...

See the movie "Radical M.....s" and you will understand why I feel this way. A "Declaration of War" is with the campaign of "J...." and it is the aim to destroy Christianity. This is the reason why we are at War with Iraq. It is not just over oil but rather it is for the safety of our Christian nation and that of the safety of Israel. If we as a free people of the United States refuse to engage out of fear, we are seen as LAMBS by Radical M......s and can be slaughter like cattle at market.

Thank GOD for our people who protect our LAND...PAST AND PRESENT....EMBRACE THEM...AND PRAY THAT our country's people will never stand down to those that would enslave and slaughter our Youth in the name of "A...!" God Bless our SOLDIERS!!!!

Looking for.....

You'll laugh but I initially joined the Army over a guy. His name was Andrew Watts and he was station at Fort Gordon, Georgia and we were Penpals for several years. He wrote me everyday like clock work and I wrote just the same. He would put money in a pay phone to call me. He was the man I first fell in love with and I was going to lose my virginity too. Unfortunately, by the time I got orders to go to the Base he was station he PCS out and I was stuck without him. I had signed my life away for 8yrs and he was nowhere to be found and never responded back to a letter. Months went by and I rebounded and ended up marrying another Soldier but it wasn't him. We just never connected. When I was at Fort Polk he flew to California to meet with my parents something my Exhusband never did and now I am divorced after 11years and I often wonder if he ever thinks of me or if he's single or still available? Andrew asked my parents for permission to marry me and I ran away and married someone that I had no feelings for and it was the worst mistake I had ever made....He was the only man I've ever met that accepted me and my family and loved me for all my imperfections....Andrew if your out there and there is still a chance with you, please email me.

SUPPORT the SOLDIER NO MATTER THE COST

58 Views          09/12/07
We are there in Iraq. To pull out now, would be a travesty, a mockery to the lives already lost, if we do not finish what we have started. "Yes" the strategy could have, should have been different; nevertheless, the fact is, "We are there!" It boils down to this, if someone comes to your "HOME" and breaks the door down, threatens your family, what kind of response should you give? Should it be one of negotiations? Should it be one of cowering and turning the other cheek? Should it be one where force meets force? Eminent threat!!! The law says that if you are threatened within your home and you feel as if your life is in imminent danger, than you have the RIGHT to protect yourself and your family!" Of course I said it crudely, but when AlQaeda came to my "HOME" they threatened my family and I have the "RIGHT" as an American Citizen to Protect and Serve my country.
As "Doc" I say to the Politicians stay out of what you do not understand. If you have not served your country you should leave the military strategy up to the Generals and not politicians that have liberal agendas. Our Service Members need the Support of their communities and their government. Our Service Members are over there to keep the "War" over there. If we allow the "War" to come here. It will escalate to a Civil War within the United States and our militias will have to be called out because too many of our forces have been exhausted due to the United Nations.

O.G'S & Trainees

345 Views          06/05/07
To all my SOLDIERS out in the field....I wish I could be there to hold your hand when your afraid; to bandage your wounds when you don't know what to do; talk to you when you are lonely and so far away from home; be the one that you ask for help in your time of need; protect you with my life if called upon; but I'm back here and I worry every day that I watch the news that my "PEOPLE" are being properly taken care of........."Yes" I still do. When I say my "PEOPLE" race is of no concern, everyone wears the same BDU'S and bleeds the same color. Funny, how when our men and women have their backs up against the wall, their color, race, religion, where they come from, and what language they speak, is of NO major concern, other than complete SURVIVAL and making sure no one is left behind and everyone returns safe and sound....."UNFORTUNATELY" that is not happening....basic trainees are being sent fresh out of basic with no experience and they're being taken out.........Please O.G'S take care of the young ones...they don't have the experience or the knowledge on how to cover themselves..........

DEPRESSION vs. BREAST CANCER

9 Views          03/13/06
"Doc" here, again...Here is one for the record. For the past 3yrs I according to the VAMC have suffered severe depression. During that time, I was undergoing alot of medication for the symptoms of anxiety, but I knew that I was truly feeling the pain, and after 3yrs the VAMC has decided that the pain I knew all along to be there was truly there and not just in my mind. I knew it and yet they were "Hell bent on diagnosing me as severe depression because of the things I saw and did." In otherwards, my mammogramm and ultrasound came up positive and I knew that the entire time I was being treated the tumors have progressed because no one took the time to get my health records from the hospital that I came from. I am deeply trouble by my experiences and feel that my trust in the system has been broken. I hope that my Vets that read this, will learn from experiences and never take your health for granted and leave it upto someone else. It was my fault to not bring my records, my responsability to take care of my health and no one eles. Wish me luck at the Oncology Clinic.

UNIVERSAL PRECAUTIONS

12 Views          02/20/06
To all you "DOCS" out there!!!!! Be careful with your patients. Practice universal precautions always. Never go out to the field or compromise yourself for the sake of a patient. Casual se x, always be careful, wear your condom. Ladies if they say "Yes, I'll wear one, make sure." Don't trust anyone with your life. They're cases where married people wind up giving the virus to their spouses. The whole mentality about military people being tested, I'm telling you don't trust it. The military has been wrong many times. Infact, there is a whole day in the VAMC system dedicated to the terminally ill and 20% are HIV positive... Aids takes time to gestate and many never know they're HIV OR AIDS POSITIVE until it's too late and they start showing the signs and symptoms, in a nutshell, always practice SAFE SE X, and don't trust HIV tests as the gospel.

Relationships

14 Views          02/09/06
Their is something about military relationships? I don't know what it is, just that because we're in the military, we live hard, love fast, and don't worry about tommorrow because today maybe our last. I remember. So often, as a young soldier first time away from home, limited experiences, we forget to take our time. I think that is one of many of the soldiers downfalls; however, for the most part, their is no other relationship with another human being unlike that with a soldier. I know...I use to be one and use to be married to one. To females and males out there, what is your take on military relationships with other military spouses?

Civilian POLICE vs. 1 MP

19 Views          02/07/06
To all my BROTHERS AND SISTERS in the military. Careful co ming home. I say this because you can go to WAR and never be touched. Comeback home for just a week or two and be shot more than most soldiers that cameback from Iraq. I am appalled over the recent MP that was shot point blank by a civilian police officer. It is my opinion having seen the tape on channel five news that the Officer in question had no clue he was being watched. If he had, he would have executed properly. Instead he thought that he was going to be able to doctor the report and not realize that his report aired over the news by the police station's public affairs officer in no way matched the video. Be careful my BROTHERS and SISTERS in the military co ming home from IRAQ or on leave. Understand Civilian police officers are not well trained and even in some cases are loaded weapons emotionally. To unit COMMANDERS and FIRST SGT'S, brief and educate your soldiers and sailors to lay down and not get up even if ordered too. Stay down and let the cop or peace officer handcuff you in the prone position. Do not move or make sudden movements. It is a good idea to have Prepaid Legal Services Legal Shield in the event you are stopped or detained. Most police officers target military!!! Do not smart mouth or get smart with civilian cops, they are over worked, underpaid, and relentlessly abused by society. I'm not making excuses for what happened; however, I can see if your scared, you do what you normally wouldn't do.....We've been there. It is the properly trained that react correctly.

Vets HELPING Vets

13 Views          01/25/06
REACHING OUT!!!!!!!!!!!

To all my American Soldiers and Sailors of past and present, you could be qualified for benefits. I work in the insurance industry and there is not a day that goes by that I don't encounter a Veteran who hasn't or is still suffering from somekind of PTSD, divorce, alcoholism, depression, addiction, and is being forced to retire, that had no idea that they were qualified to receive Veterans pension either service connected or non-service connected. Instead, what I'm finding out is, the biggest mistake Veterans are making is not going after their benefits and thinking that war or the fact that they served didn't effect them. When infact, anything that puts you under extreme stress psychological and or physical stress can have long term ramifications. I know....because I too am a Veteran. I underwent alot of what I talked about and am still somewhat going through....but "DOC" say's go to the Aid Station, get "HELP" and be kind to yourself. It will take time...Don't have too much pride to ask for "HELP!!!" You earned our country's respect.

"DOC" Understands!!!!

11 Views          01/17/06
NiceGirl....I know what your going through. For me, it happened when my exhusband came back from Iraq. He didn't cling to his child; instead he sought to comfort another female soldier that he had impregnated. So, while we here in the states thought about what they were undergoing; my daughter clinging to his picture every night wondering if her father was dead or alive, only to find out that he was alive but his love had gone somewhere else. It hurt me to watch it and to be able to do nothing. I tried to communicate to my Ex about why that happened and both him and his girlfriend felt as if I couldn't move on. I wasn't trying to hang on, just when you have a child together, it bonds you in body and soul to that other person through your child. On one hand I was glad to hear and see him on US soil, but upset my Ex's relationship with his daughter had grown to a blank stare....and that his life had grown around the female soldier...and not his daughter anylonger. So, War changes more than the enemy...we are considered collateral damage. I know...I lost a husband, sobriety, and now, I'm regrouping and fighting my wayback. My daughter and I grew stronger from that experience and it made realize that military life is hard. That when you go to war, love is scarce and when you find it in the most harshest of places, you cling to it because in your mind, it maybe the last time you ever feel anything....I don't hold any animosity anymore, just hope that he will be happy and at peace. I will always love our child and in that way, I will always love him.

Accepting Responsability

67 Views          01/13/06
To All you Veterans,

Doc wants you to know...don't believe those Sgt.'s that say, "Civilians are looking for you." They're crock of sh it. Having been in the military gives you that "SLIGHT EDGE", that civilians do not have. If your planning to get out of the military, network like hell, make friends and influence people, and most of all, stay "FLEXIBLE". It is the Veteran that can adapt and overcome and plot and plan, map out their lives, that will succeed. Most of all, "Doc" wants you to remember, don't forget or turn your back on a fellow soldier in need, but also know, when to let them fall. A true soldier would never beg, never put out a sign asking for pity. Please reach out to one another, embrace each other, and never forget who you are.
